I didn't think the rural carnival scene could get any scarier but then they started handing out portraits of ghostly serial killers as prizes. Technically, that's what Freddy is. And notice the way I spelled his name with a "y" and not "ie." Were the bootleggers behind this item going for a legal loophole or were they simply ignorant of the correct spelling? That's a rhetorical question.

I won this little gem in the late 1980s when I was at the height of Freddymania. Never since has my ability to pay one dollar and break a balloon with a dart merited such fruit.
Oh, I realize the glass is now broken in two pieces. But that just makes it all the more menacing; just like the real Freddie.

I just realized how humiliated I'd be if I somehow accidentally cut myself to death on this carnival prize.
