HALLOWEEN COUNTDOWN: SKELETON #14

Era: Unknown (presumably 1970s or earlier)
Glow-in-the-Dark?: Yes
Place of Origin: Granny Jo Anne's Joke and Magic Shop
Rib Count: 20
Celebrity Look-alike: Bill Murray in What About Bob (first time sailing scene)
Description: I have only admiration for this rubber skeleton. From his accurate and detailed sculpt to his chilling expression of both shock and agony.. you're looking at an upstanding example of the human frame. And if his color is getting in the way of your appreciation for him then maybe you'd do well to take some time and reexamine your own values. Sheesh.

Cause of Death: Giant wires stuck in back
Rating: 9.5

Wow, his skull looks like something straight out of Scooby Doo. What a great scream/cackle grin he's got.

That is one perfect screaming-banshee-skeleton-fiend from the pits of Hell piece of rubber! It looked like it was gonna be impossible to top 'Asparagus Jones', but this little dude pulled it off!

This is an excellent, realistic skeleton. You could study anatomy with this.

And I love reading the stories behind these items.

If you go to my Necromerica blog and click on the link for "Gloria" in the sidebar, you can read about my GREATEST FIND EVER in a flea market. It's kindof related in a way, which is why I mention it.

I'm glad at least there's one more that's of the "asparagus jones" calibur, only now the rest of the countdown is sure to be a letdown.

I'll check out your 'greatest find' gugon. sounds intriguing!

That's a pretty malevolent looking rubber skeleton, especially considering that any other skeleton rendered in purple would be downright cuddly and non-intimidating.

What a great find.

rozum- yeah, he makes pink/purple/fuchsia look tough.

lynn- he's going to be hard, if not impossible to top.
