NEW YORK COMIC CON + ME

Hey folks! I'll be at New York Comic Con this weekend celebrating the release of Mail-Order Mysteries. I'll be signing books on Saturday, Oct. 15 from 1-3 PM at the Insight Editions booth #1939. (Plus I imagine I'll be checking in at the booth throughout the Con.) They'll be giving away the cool pinback buttons that you may have seen pictured on the Secret Fun Blog a few seconds ago.

I like saying hi to people so feel free to come by and say hi.

I tried to savor your book when it arrived today, but instead I roared through it with great enthusiasm. Yours is a book that everyone in the family (the 12 year old boy, the husband and me) all agreed is brilliant, hilarious and wonderful. You should be so proud. It was worth the wait.

Thanks so much Melissa, that is awesome to hear!

Wil- far as I know they're comic con exclusives but I'll find out more when I'm there.

It is so gratifying when one of our dreams comes true. So glad yours did. Remember I tried to get you to feature Monster Cafe Saltillo once on your blog around 3 years ago. Well I made my dream happen too. 3 years and going! Hope your book sells well and next time in the states I will be sure to order it. Thanks!

Congratulations on such an amazing book! Your work continues to inspire. (And yes, I too would be interested in purchasing these pins).

Well done!

Missed you at NYCC but met the Editor working the booth (Jesse?) and WOW am I glad I bought this. I can't tell you how much enjoyment I got out of this, and I started a thread over here to discuss: http://www.thecomicforums.com/forum2/index.php?showtopic=181307
