BEGINNING THIS SUNDAY...
For the past few years I've enjoyed the annual Halloween countdown over at X-Entertainment, so this year I've decided to try one of my own. So start wiping off your eyes and prepare yourself for thirty-one consecutive 'countdown' posts throughout October in addition to a number of typical 'secret fun' posts. This countdown will have an extremely narrow focus, and it's not half as great as the official logo (pictured above) might suggest, but it's certain to delight anyone who enjoys that which is tedious and inconsequential.

Hey Kirk, you beat me to the punch since I'll be doing the same thing everyday over on my blog. I'll make an official announcement on the last day of September! I hope more bloggers will join in for a fun filled all month Halloween-Pic-A-Thon too!
I'm all about tedious and inconsequential. Thanks for naming Entertainment X. I, too, enjoyed past countdowns but couldn't remember the name of the site.
I'm hoping to post daily Halloween entries throughout October as well.
In the meantime, I hope people will feel a need to stop by and check out the laborious project that has kept me busy most of the summer. I've been posting a tedious and inconsequential blow by blow record of its making.
I wonder should I feel at all ashamed that I followed your X-Entertainment link and read the full review for the Halloween episode of Perfect Strangers. I also wonder if I should feel even more ashamed for watching all the clips they had available, actually laughing at them, and legitimately wanting to see more? Your thoughts?
Rock on with the Halloween Countdown! Your site is consistently cool!
The floating head Weebles are much like mismatched-scale Hot Wheels (I was a Matchbox man tho). I had Freightliners that were the same height and width as Beetles. If you're into it, you're willing to suspend reality for the sake of fun. Having some full-bodied Weebles and other head-Weebles is an allowable toy faux pas.
Well it looks like it's going to be a countdown-o-rama across the blogosphere. I can't wait! There seems like a lot of great blogs out that weren't around last Halloween so I'll bet this year will be bursting with great stuff.
Chuck- I think you watching Perfect Strangers is like you revisiting the womb.. oh, so warm. I think X-entertainment is all you. The guy who does it is almost exactly your age and you come to my mind almost every time I go there. I'm not sure why I haven't mentioned it before. The good thing is you've got years worth of articles to go through now. It will be like finding a time machine.
Travis- Thanks! Excellent comparison too. Some toys just naturally get endless leniency.
I'm going to try my damnedest to post a bunch of Halloween junk, though I jumped the gun a little already.
'...tedious and inconsequential...' my two favorite things! Sounds like tons o'Halloween fun to be found this year... the coolest holiday ever has gotten so much cooler with the advent of the blog!
Smurf- Yeah, I was thinking you've already got the halloween spirit going strong
Nemo- Now that I think of it Tedious and Inconsequential would have made a good name for this blog.
Wow-- lookin' forward to some of the crazy Halloween stuff I'll be able to grab from here & others!
9shameless plug) No way I'd have the time to do a countdown on my OWN blog-- but I DO already have a couple of Halloween-themed items & plan to post at least 3 more. (/shameless plug)
funny you should say that because I've already been wading through his past posts and enjoying them very much. Especially the horror film awards from 1991 that I some how missed when I was 10 years old.
