And that your skeleton(s) was represented in the countdown.

I'm pretty sure this one just came from Wal-Mart. There were four in the bag we got. (though I don't know if they have the same assortment this year)Kirk D.https://www.blogger.com/profile/05700097965524197825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24558766.post-39010579570492313532006-10-20T18:50:00.000-05:002006-10-20T18:50:00.000-05:00These are MY skeletons! I never thought you'd do them -- there are so many rubber skeletons I didn't figure you'd have one of these.

I had five of these when I was growing up. Your picture is absolutely identical to my skeletons -- I'd recognize them anywhere. Of course it helps that I still have my five and still take them out for Halloween!

Around here their companions are five small, floppy black rubber bats with built-in nonfunctional suction cups on their stomachs. Probably we just got them around the same time though, I don't think they were part of a package.

My five must have been made in the late 1980s or maybe early 1990s. Somewhere there's a mold that's been working overtime for quite awhile!

I haven't seen these in stores...by any chance, do you remember where you found this one? My five might need some new friends.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24558766.post-36315631882153196292006-10-20T17:17:00.000-05:002006-10-20T17:17:00.000-05:00This guy looks like one of his parents was a rubbe...This guy looks like one of his parents was a rubber chicken.Flashfink!https://www.blogger.com/profile/16288109927042605622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24558766.post-49500603009700403242006-10-20T12:13:00.000-05:002006-10-20T12:13:00.000-05:00smurf- that's interesting. I'd never thought of it either, but I went back and compared and I'm definitely with you on the fully rendered ribs. they can really make the skeleton.

gugon- ha. I just thought it would be fun(ny) to talk up a really crappy looking skeleton and make it seem as though it has some importance. (Though I do like the fact that he has a "classic" crappyness) His boring "story" is that a couple years ago we bought a bag of assorted goodies for a halloween party and several of his kind were in it. I hope you're not too let down :)Kirk D.https://www.blogger.com/profile/05700097965524197825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24558766.post-25616702916660877382006-10-20T08:16:00.000-05:002006-10-20T08:16:00.000-05:00You clearly have a deep and emotional attachment t...You clearly have a deep and emotional attachment to this skeleton. I wouldn't mind hearing the history of this.
