OH, THE HORROR

Hi folks! I'm still all busy and stuff, but if a blog is only as good as its last post, then mine has been pretty lame recently. So I know I can't go wrong with this one. I made a desktop-size scan of this illustration that goes with the old Johnson Smith & Co. Horror Record originally blogged about on Scarstuff here and currently available to download here. This came from the back of the Johnson Smith 1974 catalog and it's the only place I've seen it in glorious color.

FUN CUBED

This is for anyone curious to see how my move turned out. I rotated the mix a bit and added more 80s stuff to get more of a childhood bedroom feel as a counter to the corporate elements. This new cubicle will enable me to be fitter, happier, more productive...

ON THE MOVE

My apologies for the infrequent posts these last couple months. A combination of projects and wondrous Spring weather are keeping me away from the bloggery. On top of that, my office at my day job is moving to another locale. I'm already mourning the loss of my cubby of six years (seen above). I have a fresh new "work center" awaiting, though it looks suspiciously like a cubicle to me. Anyway I thought you might like to get a look at some of the stuff that released happy chemicals in my brain each time I glanced over at it. (The photo gets real big when you click it). Now get out of here you dumb old office.. go on...git! Don't you ever come back...I hate you! [sniff.]
