REN & STIMPY- YOU EEDIOT!

Hey Folks! Here's a companion piece to your Ren & Stimpy Production Music album. We can all thank Secret Fun patron "Herr Anonymous" for coughing up this out-of-print collection of ditties. Now, I'm aware that some folks harbor a hatred for this record because the songs aren't the exact recordings that were used on the show. Plus Jon K. wasn't involved so Billy West performed the voices for both characters. Believe me, I can understand the purist mentality, but it's hard to stay mad when you're listening to the Muddy Mudskipper Theme; and it's impossible to stay glum as Stinky Wizzleteats teaches you to be happy (before teaching your grandmother to suck eggs). Plus you get nice renditions of the opening theme, the Log theme.. well, just look at the track list...

01. The Whistler/Overture
02. Dog Pound Hop (Opening Theme)
03. Muddy Mudskipper Theme
04. Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy
05. Fire Dogs
06. Better Than No One
07. Nose Goblins
08. Smokin'
09. Log Blues/Log Theme
10. Captain's Log/Space Madness
11. Sven Theme
12. Sven Blues
13. Don't Whiz On The Electric Fence
14. Ren's Pecs
15. I'm Gonna Be A Monkey
16. Filthy's Dance
17. Jungle Boogie
18. Dizzy Monkees
19. Kilted Yaksmen Anthem
20. The Whistler/Underture
21. Big House Blues (Closing Theme)

Hi Anonymous,
My best guess based on your description is 'Moonlight Sonata' by Beethoven. (It's also known as Piano Sonata No. 14 in C Sharp Minor) Try typing it in to the itunes music store or amazon.com and listen to a sample to see if that's the one.

(If that's not the one it could be Fur Elise by Beethoven but that's not as solemn.)
